The CBA Regional and Agribusiness Banking team donned their best painting clothes for Country Hope

‘The staff from the Commonwealth Bank Regional and Agribusiness Banking team from Albury donned their best painting clothes and put gusto into freshening up the offices of Country Hope Albury.  After a brief induction, and most importantly being shown were the coffee and muesli bars were, we got into tapping cornices, filling cracks and holes, sanding, and preparing the walls throughout the office. Once prepared, the paint was poured, and boy was it a hype of activity. The team were able to finish off the entry, move across to the laundry, and even give the loo a quick lick of paint. As much fun and excitement it was for them, there was a real reason why they were there as a team. As team members of the CBA, they are dedicated to give back to the community, understanding that without the support of the local community they don’t have a purpose.

John Lazarov Agribusiness Executive at CBA stated “Personally, all the members of the team that assisted have a connection and background to regional and remote Victoria, NSW, and even WA. We understand the importance of having an organisation such as Country Hope. It is a constant, a place for reflection, a place for assistance, and a place to help pull you through some of the most difficult times that people experience in their lives.
