Morning Tea with Joe McGirr

A few of our parents got to meet with our elected member for Wagga Wagga, Mr Joe McGirr last week and were able to inform Joe about family life with a child who has cancer or other chronic life-threatening illness. Joe was very interested and moved to hear the stories and personal experiences from our parents. Our families have such an understanding about their child's illness and treatment that they become the experts for their children. It was a very insightful gathering for all those in attendance.
