A big thank you to The Albury Club for raising a wonderful $500 for Country Hope at this years Town & Country Hope.  Featured above is David Bruce, president of the Albury mens Club presenting $500 cheque to Country Hope from the Town and Country Ball fundraiser held a few weeks ago — Country Hope Carer, Nathan Wimhurst accepted the cheque on County Hope's behalf.

The Albury Club is this year celebrating its 140th anniversary. The Gentlemen who make up the member base have always been a mix of town and country and from this long tradition came the Town & Country Ball. There are several events each year which are very focused on engaging the rural membership, additional to their individual visitations to the club. Country Hope, with their focus on country services, became a very neat fit to be the beneficiary charity from this event.

The Albury Club was established in 1877 and was one of the first thirty clubs in NSW and was exempt from the licensing Act until about 1912 when private clubs lost their privileges and all registered clubs were brought into line under one Act.
